Educationals Visits and actions for Anzac

The Association "Friends of Anzac from Lemnos" conducts, during the current school year 2022-2023, educational visits for the secondary schools of Lemnos, high schools, general high schools and vocational high schools.

As part of the actions to inform and raise the awareness of students about the history of Anzac, organized visits are booked with full coverage of travel and guided tours to places of historical interest, such as the allied cemeteries of Moudros and Portianou.

As the schools participating in the organized actions state in their posts, the imprint on the new generation is strong and the impact of the actions will contribute to the dissemination of the results of the actions in the years to come, through collaborative programs, school activity programs, individual and group tasks and from the results that will occur from completing an electronic questionnaire of actions and impressions from the guided tours. The aim of the action is the active participation of young people in activities and events promoting the historical character of Lemnos and their voluntary contribution to future actions.
